Equipment Engineer

As Equipment Engineer, you are responsible for the maintenance plan of a specific set of Fab tools.
In a context where continuous improvement is a critical success factor, you are constantly looking for opportunities to make the maintenance plan more efficient and cost effective, guaranteeing the required equipment performance both in terms of quality and availability. All of this in close cooperation with the production organization.
Your Responsabilities
• Implement an document preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.
• Following up the equipment performance.
• Define and execute projects to improve the tool performance ( Uptime, MTBF, MTTR, OEE, quality , cost).
• Support and training the maintenance technicians.
• Drive root cause analysis and implement solutions.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, specifications, and work instructions.
• Collaborate closely with the production teams . As an Equipment Engineer, you will also be on call in off hours for the equipment under your responsibility
Qualifications & Experience
• Master’s degree in electronic or electro-mechanics with minimum 3 years of experience, preferably in high tech sector or strictly regulated proces environment( pharma, chemical, semiconductor,...)
• Familiar with statistical analysis and LEAN manufacturing techniques.
• Motivated to achieve high quality standards and strong attitude towards achieving results.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Working language: English. Knowledge of Duth and French is a strong pluspoint.
