Plant & Facilities Technician

As a Plant & Facilities Technician, you are responsible for ensuring the continuous operation and reliability of the utility and facility systems that support our high-tech cleanroom environments. These systems include HVAC, cooling water, compressed air and vacuum systems, gas, fire and oxygen detection systems, electrical installations, and general building infrastructure.
Your Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
Monitor installations on a daily basis and strive for maximum uptime.
Troubleshoot breakdowns, analyze technical faults, and resolve issues independently or in collaboration with external partners to minimize downtime.
Be responsible for connecting gas cylinders and chemicals to production equipment, and manage waste streams.
Continuously develop extensive knowledge of the facility infrastructure and utility systems.
Ensure smooth shift handovers and accurate documentation of maintenance activities.
Contribute as a member of the emergency/intervention team.
Qualifications and Experience
Technical education in Electrical Engineering or Electromechanics.
Basic knowledge of PLC systems and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
Strong sense of responsibility, including attention to detail and strict adherence to procedures.
High standards regarding maintenance quality and safety.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Relevant experience in an industrial, pharmaceutical, or high-tech maintenance environment is considered an asset.
Fluent in Dutch, with a basic knowledge of English; knowledge of French is an advantage.
Willingness to work in a continuous shift system (24/7 operations).
